Scarlett Johannson !

J’aime bien cette actrice, elle fait nature et pas compliqué. Bill Murray joue près d’elle dans le film Lost in translation de Sofia Coppola ; ça vous dit quelque chose ? Dans le film Scarlett chante karaoke et ça donne ceci. Vous comprendrez que ce n’est pas la voix qui me plaît mais l’ensemble de l’œuvre. Je vous parle d’elle aujourd’hui, car elle a sorti un CD et j’ai entendu l’une des chansons. Elle interprète une chanson d’un certain Tom Waits, que je ne connaissais pas. La chanson, Falling down, qu’elle interprète avec simplicité et sans artifice, rend un témoignage mélodieux en laissant aux percussions, la rythmique et au banjo, qui porte gaieté et bonhommie. David Bowie l’accompagne loin derrière et plus, il a arrangé le tout.

Je reviendrai un jour écrire à propos de ce Waits qui me semble étonnant, étrange … Je lui trouve des similitudes foubraques à la Frank Zappa, mais bon.
